City of Lancaster Summer Concerts Continue this Thursday with Rukus
On Thursday nights, The BLVD hosts its weekly Farmers Market and the summertime Sierra Toyota ● Scion Concert Series on the BeX Bandstand stage, providing the Antelope Valley with a family experience filled with fun, food, and live music. This Thursday, July 30, Rukus will be rocking The BLVD with a free concert beginning at 6 p.m.
The members of Rukus have been jamming together since 2003, and include: Troy Hagel (guitar), Julian Kelso (bass), and Clydesdale (drums and vocals). They play covers of hits from bands like Rush, The Goo Goo Dolls, AC/DC, April Wine, Boz Skaggs, and more.
"Playing in this Valley is what we love to do," said Clydesdale. "So, when we got the call regarding this gig on The BLVD, we felt honored to accept."
The weekly Farmers Market runs concurrently with the Sierra Toyota ● Scion Concert Series, enabling residents to stock up on fresh produce on The BLVD from 4-9 p.m. With more than 25 local retailers and 20 unique restaurants, offering various entertainment options, the award-winning BLVD provides visitors the opportunity to shop, dine, and dance while enjoying live music.
